It’s so hard to believe that LOST 2014 starts in just a few days. It seems like yesterday I started planning the event. Where did the time go? :)
I am so excited to meet so many LOSTies from all over the country. Our final registration tally stands at 269 attendees from 15 countries around the world. This event is a true testament of the passion people have for a little show called LOST.
As I get ready to board a plane to head to the Island, I had a few people I wanted to thank:
Jo Garfein … our kick ass talent liaison, but more importantly a friend. I can’t thank you enough for your hard work over the past 18 months. From securing Jorge Garcia, to the Cancer Gets LOST Charity Auction, to a few other secrets we have up our sleeves … your commitment to the cause, to LOST, and to those in need has been nothing short of inspiring. Dude … you rock and I am so grateful for you!
Michael Gillman … our incredible event photographer who is donating his time and services to take incredible photos during LOST 2014. Thank you for always being game for whatever crazy idea I throw your way and for bringing your incredible ideas to the table. I look forward to working with you and can’t wait to see your amazing work!
Our incredible volunteers! Where can I even begin? Thank you seems like such a small word and doesn’t begin to scratch the surface of how appreciative I am for you! I can’t thank you enough for donating your time to help make LOST 2014 a great event. Without you, the event couldn’t happen! Christian Shepard hit it on the head … “No one can do it alone.” Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
Our volunteers are:
- Bob Baron
- Kristy Davis
- Jo Garfein
- Michael Gillman

- Kristy Stevenson
- Susan Terral
I also want to give special mention to Jennifer Young and Ian Knight who volunteered their time and creative energy by creating the two official LOST 2014 logos as well as the other participants who submitted design in our logo contest!
Our attendees … YOU are what makes this event. Every single part of LOST 2014 was always done with you in mind. Thank you for taking time out of your daily lives to travel (in some cases very long distances!) to Hawaii to be part of LOST 2014!
This has been one of the most incredible journey’s I’ve ever been on. I still pinch myself every day that I’m a part of it!
I hope that you have as much fun at the event as I did planning it! I can’t wait to meet you all in Hawaii!
